On Sunday, March 25, 2018, David Earl Durham, age 57, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in heaven.
David was born in Elizabethtown, Kentucky on September 20, 1960, the son of the late Earl Durham and Mary Snyder Baldwin. He proudly joined the Georgia Army National Guard and attended basic training at Ft. Jackson in South Carolina. While serving his country in the military, David started working for Taylor Pallets and Recycling Company, formerly Hood Pallet Supply Company in Byron. He worked for them for over 22 years and was most recently a supervisor.
David had a passion for music, which proved true, as he was an excellent musician. He could play any instrument, but playing guitar was his favorite. Warner Robins First Assembly of God and later The Assembly at Warner Robins were his church homes.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rita Durham.
David’s memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 38 years, Denise Durham of Fort Valley; son, Steven Lawrence (Dawn) of Centerville; grandsons, Devon and Jeremy; and siblings, Kay Lentz, Dewayne Durham, Paul and Lonnie Baldwin, and Billy Fredricks.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. David will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
