David Eugene Gilliam, Jr.

David Eugene Gilliam, Jr., born on December 17, 1961 in Unadilla, GA to the late Janie Ruth and David Eugene Gilliam, Sr., passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Most of his working life was spent in the construction industry, but in his free time, he loved fishing, grilling, and listening to music. David also enjoyed spending time with his family and his dogs, Buddy and Taz.

He is survived by his loving wife, Holly Stripling; children, Candice Wittle, Danielle Mason (Matt), Bo Gilliam (Ashley), Daniel Gilliam (Alyssa) and Jessica Gilliam; grandchildren, Bo Gilliam, Jr., Tyler Gilliam, Sophia Gilliam, Ansleigh Gilliam and Aubrey Gilliam; and brother, Andy Gilliam.

David’s family will receive friends for a memorial gathering at McCullough Funeral Home on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
