David G Wilson

David G. Wilson, 70, a resident of Hixson, Tennessee for more than sixty years, died Monday, July 25, 2005, at his daughter’s home in Warner Robins, Georgia. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, July 28, 2005 in Chattanooga National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), 1011 Corder Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.


He was a member of Hixson Baptist Church of Hixson, Tennessee. Mr. Wilson worked for The Red Food store for many years. He also drove for the Southwest Trucking Company. David was a veteran of the United States Army. The burial will be held in the National Cemetery with full Military Honors. His parents, Elbert & Jesse Wilson, preceded him in death

Survivors include his wife, Scottie Wilson, Chattanooga; daughters, Kim D.Pittman, Warner Robins, Georgia; Cindy Robertson, Chattanooga; Deborah Langston East Ridge; son, Mark Wilson, Chattanooga; grandchildren, Trey Patterson; Ellis Pittman; Travis Langston; Christopher Wilson; Cory Wilson; cousins, Richard and Carl Wilson of Hixson, Tennessee.
