David Girdner

June 6, 1950 — July 17, 2011

David Girdner, 61, entered into rest on Sunday, July 17, 2011.

David was born on June 6, 1950 in Los Angeles, California. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Navy and participated during the Vietnam Conflict. He later worked in Electronics in Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base, and was a member of Freedom Baptist Church.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Sharon Girdner, St. Petersburg; step-daughter, Tara Martin, Statesboro; sister, Kerry Girdner, Warner Robins; brother, Steve Girdner, Centerville; nephew, Jake Kilraine (Caitin); and great-nephew, Jacob Kilraine.

Visitation will be Friday, July 22, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend Floyd McKeel officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery with full military honors. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Freedom Baptist Church, 1221-4 South Houston Lake Road, Warner Robins GA 31088.
