David L. Griffin

David L. Griffin, 77, entered into rest on Monday, March 5, 2012.

David was born on August 3, 1934 in Kennard, Indiana. A proud veteran of the United States Army, he received a Bachelor's Degree of Agriculture from Purdue University, and retired from Ralston Purina as Regional Sales Manager. David was a member of Central Baptist Church and was also a Mason. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His parents, Lucien Griffin and Pauline Elliott Griffin, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of fifty-four years, Louise Griffin, Warner Robins; children, Connie G. Miller (Walt), Macon, Rhonda L. Jones (Tom), Gray, Brad Griffin (Kim), Athens, and Jay Griffin (Natalie), Ponte Vedra, Florida; and grandchildren, Ashley Brown (Richmond), David Miller (Janelle), Kyle Miller, Ben Jones, Zach Griffin, Katherine Griffin, Kendall Griffin, Madeline Griffin, and Grace Griffin.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Dr. Owen Bozeman will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests donations be given to Robins Air Force Base Museum of Aviation, P.O. Box 2469, Warner Robins, GA 31099.
