David Lee Bratcher, 51, entered into rest on Friday, February 14, 2014.
David was born on November 23, 1962 in Kentucky and grew up in Ohio. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, he proudly served as an officer in the United States Air Force and currently worked at Robins Air Force Base as a contracting specialist. David was an avid UK basketball fan, a World War II buff, loved golf and playing guitars. He was also a member of Shirley Hills Baptist Church.
A devoted husband and father, he is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Melanie, and his children, Kevin and Emily, all of Warner Robins; his father, Fred Bratcher (Becky) of Apollo Beach, Florida; sisters, Rita Bratcher of Dayton, Ohio and Karen Jeans (Jeff) of Centralia, Washington; brother, Mike Bratcher (Linda) of Warner Robins; grandmother, Ella Mae Lanham of Berea, Kentucky; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; as well as his beloved dog, Shadow and cat, Halle. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ella Rae Bratcher.
Visitation will be Monday, February 17, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will be in Kentucky at a later date.
