David M. Schmitz, Sr.

David M. Schmitz, 64, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2007. Mr. Schmitz was born on November 18, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was of the Catholic faith. SSgt. Schmitz was a proud veteran of the United States Army, from which he retired. He served during the Vietnam era. His father, William Schmitz, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Schmitz, Warner Robins; children, David Schmitz, Jr., MN; James Schmitz, Lavonna Marcoux, both of Warner Robins; Gary Schmitz, Missouri; mother, Louis Morton Schmitz, Warner Robins; grandchildren, Melissa Gubera, Kimberly Gubera; Marcus Schmitz, brothers, Jerry Schmitz, Michigan; John Smith, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2007 in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the David M. Schmitz, Sr., Memorial fund 417 S.
