David Woodard, 59, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2006. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 15, 2006 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Giddens-Harrell Cemetery, Dodge County, GA. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be given to the donor’s favorite charity.
Mr. Woodard was born on December 12, 1946 in Chester, GA. He was a member of Primitive Baptist Church in Dodge County. David was retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base where he was employed as a C-141 aircraft technician. He proudly served his country for six years in the United States Army. An avid outdoorsman, David was a member of Duck Creek Hunting Club, R and A (Rod and Gun Club) and loved hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was also a dealer at Smiley’s Flea Market.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian Woodard, Warner Robins; son, Douglas Malik (Jessica), Warner Robins; grandchildren, Joey, Gavin and Carter Malik; all of Warner Robins; sisters and brothers-in-law, Gerald and Linda Day, Macon; Clifton and Kay Lord, Warner Robins; Warner and Patricia, Sanford, FL; Jimmy and Patty Roberts, FL; aunts and uncles, Dorothy Stephens, Warner Robins; Ruth Kirkpatrick, Chester; Donald Self, Eastman; John B. Self, Chester; and many beloved nephews, cousins and friends.
