Debbie Chasteen

Deborah L. Chasteen, 54, joined her Lord and Savior in heaven on Wednesday, November 28, 2012.

Debbie was born on March 29, 1958 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Of the Baptist faith, Debbie's Christian life was of the utmost importance to her. She had a heart of gold and touched many lives with her kind spirit and loving ways. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend to many. Deborah enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends; she loved the beach and outdoor activities. Her birth father, R. D. Jackson, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her son and his wife, Alex Chasteen (Jill), Burleson, Texas; parents, Charles E. Hays and Bertha L. Hays, Warner Robins; sisters, Connie Caracappa, and Carrie Patterson (Guy), step brother, Franklin "Butch" Hays; step sister, Teresa Hays; grandson, Brett Chasteen; dearest friends, Jeanne Haslam and Judy Talbert; and a host of other loving family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2012 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The family will greet visitors thirty minutes prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
