Del Prescott, 68, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, December 27, 2017.
Del was born on October 26, 1949 in Plant City, Florida to the late Raymond and Ethel Russell Prescott. He grew up in Lakeland, Florida where he graduated high school. Del then worked as a chef for many fine dining restaurants including Foxfire Restaurants in Lakeland. Del was an artist, he had a natural ability to paint and draw beautiful pieces of art. He enjoyed cooking, working Sudoku and jigsaw puzzles, and singing, he had a wonderful voice. Del was a Christian and a faithful member of Evergreen Family Fellowship.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Anne Prescott.
His memory will forever be treasured by his siblings, Linda Birchfield (Ralph) of Warner Robins, Mike Prescott of Knoxville, Tennessee; nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of McCullough. After the service, Del will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Del Ray Prescott to Evergreen Family Fellowship, 80 Tabor Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31093.
