Delbert Lloyd Moneypenny, 78, passed away at home on Sunday morning, November 4, 2007. Funeral services will be private and the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home on Wednesday November 7, 2007.
Delbert Moneypenny was born in Preston, Wisconsin, to the late Perry & Sara Moneypenny. He was a retired U.S. Air Force Veteran with one of tour duty in Korea and two in Vietnam. Delbert started working at Robins AFB as a civilian in 1971. He was an active member of the following organizations: Moose Lodge, NCO Club, VFW, American Legion, DAV, and ELKS. He was a devoted husband, father, friend, grandfather, great grandfather. Delbert will always be remembered for his silent ways and sense of humor.
He is survived by one brother, Floyd (Elma), and one-half brother, Dalewood. Survivors also include his wife of 61 years, Genevieve Moneypenny, Dale (wife- Sue; children Mona, Shelly, & Kim) of Cheney, Washington; Eva (husband - Randy; child Juanita) Hunt; Norman (wife- Theresa; children Jeremiah, Joshua, & Tabitha); James (wife - Joy; children Lindsay & Katy); Jimmy (Shalana; children Cydney & Ethan) all of Warner Robins. Delbert was blessed with 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to Second Baptist Church, 2430 Moody Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
