Dell Chambers

Novice Loydell "Dell" Favors Chambers, 73, entered into rest on Saturday, February 18, 2012.

Mrs. Chambers was born on October 17, 1938, in Dunbar, Kentucky. A 1956 Warner Robins High School graduate, she attended Crandall Business College. She was very active with the Senior Citizens, Good News Singers, and was a Pink Lady for twenty-seven years. A devoted homemaker, she was a faithful member of Sandy Valley Baptist Church. Her parents, Lloyd Pascal Favors and Madie J. McKinney Cates, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of fifty-three years, John Thomas Chambers; children, Tommy Chambers (Carol), Warner Robins, and Trish Harkins (Tom), Cordesville, South Carolina; grandchildren, Kathryn and Julie Chambers, and Matt and Anna Harkins; sister, Barbara Pulliam (BW), Warner Robins; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, February 20, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at Sandy Valley Baptist Church, Reverend Phil Bryant and Bill Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins GA 31088.
