Delores Freeman Knight

Delores Knight, 59, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 9, 2015.

Delores was born on September 19, 1956 in Macon, Georgia, but lived most of her life in Warner Robins. She worked for Robins Air Force Base, where she retired in September of 2014, after 33 years of service. Delores was a devoted wife and mother; she enjoyed crafts, reading, University of Georgia Football, and spending time with her family that she loved dearly.

Her father, Phillip Freeman, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, Larry Knight of Bonaire; daughter, April Louise Wimberly of Bonaire; granddaughter, Bailey Grace; mother, Louise Gilligan (Donald) of Bonaire; twin sister, Deborah Whatley (Tim) of Carrolton; and sister, Pamela Deese (Neil) of Gray; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, December 11, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 13, 2015 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Following the service, Mrs. Knight will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
