Dianne Mcfadden Dorsey

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Dianne McFadden Dorsey. She passed away on the morning of Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at the age of 74.

Born and raised in Milledgeville, GA, Dianne graduated from John Milledge Academy and moved to Macon shortly after. She attended beauty school and enjoyed working as a beautician for a brief time. Dianne then went to work for Armstrong and later began a 30-year career in Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. She was in equipment management for most of her time on base, but retired while working in HAZMAT. Though Dianne was successful in her work life, her family life always came first. She modeled unconditional love for her daughter and each of her grandchildren, a legacy that will be forever carried in the hearts of all of them in the years to come.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, William “Billy” McFadden and Patricia Ann McFadden.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Nicole Daly (Glenn) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Austin Cole, Caden Daly and Cole Daly; step grandson, Chaz Daly; and step great-granddaughter, Lily Daly.

Dianne’s family will receive friends on Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 12 noon at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12 noon in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Dianne will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens following the service.
