Dianne Patricia Repasz

February 20, 1945 — October 21, 2023

Warner Robins

Dianne Patricia Barnett Repasz was a woman who loved those in her life with a commitment beyond comprehension during her 78 years of life and adventure. She peacefully passed away in the early hours of the morning on October 21st, 2023.

Dianne was born February 20th, 1945, in San Diego, California where her beloved father was stationed with the United States Navy. Her family eventually settled in Georgia, where she and her 5 siblings would grow up and begin their own families. She was proud to call Georgia her home for the rest of her life, being a devoted Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Falcons, and Atlanta Braves fan.

We will miss her goofy nature, her radiant smile, and her occasional, endearing stubbornness. She was funny with ease, loved to dance, to sing, was a puzzle and word game master, loved to travel in the years she was able, and was never afraid to flaunt patterns and color. Her love of books, romance, her “stories” (soap operas), crime dramas, and Elvis Presley will live on in endless memories. Dianne was a formidable force of joy, loyalty, sacrifice, and compassion. She lived life showing us all a beautiful picture of how to love, forgive, and continue to show up for those around you.

She spent her last few years bringing light and laughter into the halls of The Lodge in Warner Robins. There she was surrounded by dear friends who will remember the woman who never missed Bingo if she could help it, would watch The Braves loudly and unapologetically, and was always up for fun! She was loved by many at her final home, all of whom came to be with her and her family during those last few days.

She is survived by her mom: Vera Barnett. Children: Kimberly (William) Heath, Brandi (Wesley) Leach. Grandchildren: Tantresse (Derrick) Drawhorn, Teshia (David) Tolbert, Dylan (Caroline) Leach, Makayla Leach. Great grandchildren: Briana, Trinity, Kaiden, and Derrick Jr. Drawhorn, Baylli Nixon and Harrison Moore, Nolan Leach. Siblings: Barbara Hornaday, Lynn (Tim) Pinnell, Jeff Barnett, and Jon Hill. As well as a number of cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dianne will be happily reunited in everlasting peace with her father, Earl Barnett, brother, Bobby Barnett, brother-in-law, Ronnie Andrews, niece, Suzanne Bennett, and great grandson, Aiden Walker Drawhorn.
