Dirk May

Dirk May passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at his home in Warner Robins. He was 63 years old.

At age 7, Dirk immigrated with his parents from Germany to Connecticut where he graduated high school. He worked in a factory for a few years before joining the U.S. Air Force where he served four years for his country. He then worked for Lockheed Martin for 20 years in Little Rock, Arkansas before making Warner Robins his home in 1998. Dirk worked at Robins Air Force Base where he was an aircraft electrician on the C-130s. He was due to retire on September 30 of this year before his untimely passing.

Dirk was interested in all types of aircraft and learning about aviation history. A huge movie buff, he was also an avid fan of the New York Giants.

A memorial gathering for Dirk will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to City Church, 1304 Corder Rd, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
