Donald Albert Emig, 68, died Tuesday, August 19, 2003. Services will be held on Saturday, August 23 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
Mr. Emig was born in York, PA, to the late Curvin J. Emig and Flora May Emig. He was retired from the Macon Water Authority where he had worked as a lab technician. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was also an ordained minister with a Theology Certificate from the Veteran’s Administration. He loved our Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior.
Survivors include his sons, Daniel “Dan” John Emig (Nora), Bucharest, Romania, and David Mark Emig (Kelley), Warner Robins; brother, Ed Odgen, York, PA; and seven grandchildren: Kaleb, Matthew, Jonathon, Noah, Bryan, Joshua, and Ellonna Emig.
