“Dangerous Don” Gatliff, 56, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2004 at Serenity Gate. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 2, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, October 2, one hour prior and following the service at McCullough Funeral Home. Mr. Gatliff was born February 26, 1948. He was a member of Second Baptist Church. He was a member of the Georgia Automobile Racing Hall of Fame and was an avid drag racer. His father, Roy Gatliff, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Gatliff, Warner Robins; mother, Grace May Gatliff, Jacksonville; brother, Bob Gatliff, Athens; sisters, Joan Welker, Diane Pol, Atlanta, daughter, Kim Young, Warner Robins; son, Dustin D. Gatliff, Warner Robins; grandsons; Blaine Gatliff, Warner Robins, Jakob and Ethan Gillan, Detroit, MI, Juan and Marcos Rebollar, Bonaire; granddaughters; Jaden Gatliff, Elaney Young, Warner Robins, Mollie, Mija and Maggie Anderson, Byron; step-sons, Jeff and David Gillen, Detroit, MI; step-daughters, Ali Anderson, Byron and Peggy Rebollar, Bonaire.
