Doris H. Lacey, 81, entered into rest Tuesday, July 15, 2008.
Mrs. Lacey was born on July 7, 1927, in Cochran. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. She retired from Robins Air Force Base as a Supply Technician and was the recipient of the Distributor of the Year Award for 1976. Her husband, Lonnie S. Lacey, Sr., parents, Frank and Avie Hattaway and brothers, John, Robert, James and Albert Hattaway, all preceded her in death.
Forever treasuring her memory are her three children, Linda Cassidy, Warner Robins, Sebie Lacey (Vicki), Kathleen, and Connie Sue Lacey (L.D.), Warner Robins; grandchildren, Monica Cassidy, Jamie Cassidy (Stephanie), Seeb Lacey (Michelle), Hunter Lacey and Nash Lacey; great-grandchildren, Makayla, Jamie and Caden Cassidy; brothers, Arthur Hattaway, Peach County and Claude Hattaway, Centerville; sisters, Ruth Ford, Macon and Margaret Rouse, Centerville; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 16, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery, Reverend James Cowart officiating.
