Doris Nalley Surette

Doris Nalley Surette, 89, entered into rest on Thursday, May 15, 2014.

Doris was born on October 25, 1924 in Crosswicks, New Jersey to the late Stacy B. and Mable Cook Lippincott. She was a resident of Warner Robins since 1960 before moving to Franklin, Tennessee in 2010. She was a bus driver for the Houston County Board of Education for thirteen years and a long-time member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Doris was also a much-loved member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary #6605.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Surette.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, John S. Nalley (Amanda) of St. Albans, West Virginia, Shawn Nalley and Patricia Nalley, both of Minneapolis, Minnesota and April L. Sharp (Garvin Williams) of Franklin, Tennessee; four grandchildren; sister, Marion McDowall (Al) of Oxford, Alabama; and several loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2014 in Magnolia Park Mausoleum with entombment immediately following. The family will receive friends at the mausoleum one hour prior to service.
