Dorothy Belle Ackner, 74, entered into rest on Wednesday, June 25, 2008.

Mrs. Ackner was born on March 10, 1934 in Berlin, New York. She retired as a cook from the Bloomingdale Golf Club. Her first husband, Stanley Jesse Goodermote, Sr., son, Stanley Jesse Goodermote, Jr., daughter, Mary Maxfield, parents, William and Pearl Crandall, brothers, Otis Crandall, Authur Crandall, William Crandall, and Walter Crandall, and sister, Ella Rollier, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband of thirty seven years as of June 25 William Ackner, Sr., Warner Robins; children, Bonnie Bedard, Cathy Walters (Philip), and Daniel Goodermote (Darlene), all of Warner Robins, Terry Goodermote (Yumi) and Elaine Hernandez (Ed), all of New York; step-children, Sharon Catlin, New York, William Ackner, Jr., Texas, and Roger Ackner, New York; sisters, Charlotte Yerton and Josephine Bentley, both of New York, and Wanda Stanley, Vermont; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
