Dorothy Carol Parrish

Carol Parrish, 88, entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 12, 2022.

Carol was born on April 21, 1934 in Pearson, Georgia. to the late Troy and Louise Corbett Murray. She dedicated many years of services as a sales associate to Sears prior to her retirement. She was a member of Christian Hope Church for several decades and also enjoyed worshiping with Heritage Baptist Church. Carol was a loving and caring friend, mother, grandmother, and sister. She will be missed by all those that were blessed to know her. She was proceeded in death by her beloved husband, Walter Edward Parrish.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving daughters, Linda Wardell and Judy Arehart; grandchildren, Durand Tanner, Joseph C. Arehart, Emily Long, Callie Nichols, Shane Parrish, and Casie Parrish; great grandchildren, Brittan Anderson, Hannah Anderson, Megan Tanner and Kelly Tanner; siblings, Ronald Murray, Ralph Murray, Lloyd Murray, Larry Murray and Lyn Gaff; and her dear neighbor and sister in Christ, Jill Pierce.

Visitation with Carol’s family will be Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel. Carol will be laid to rest at 3:00 p.m. in Union Hill Church Cemetery in Pearson, Georgia.
