Dorothy Coleman, 74, entered into rest on Sunday, May 29, 2016.
Dorothy was born on August 20, 1941 in Alamo, Georgia to the late Charlie and Dissie McGhee. An employee of Anchor Glass she retired after twenty-five dedicated years of service. Dorothy was the last living of thirteen siblings to include: Ellis McGhee (Mary Alice), Georgia Burnett (Leroy), and Hugh McGee (Ann). She was a strong and loving presence in the life of her family. She enjoyed playing Bingo and Diet Coke.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her four daughters, Cindy Clark (Robert) of Kathleen, Pam Coleman of Perry, Shelia Eisemann (Brad) of Prattville, Alabama and Terri McCoy (Tommy) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Lindsey Brown, Randy Clark, Jason Clark, Stephanie Bailey, Cara Burgess, Chelsea Eisemann, Andi Dunn, Katie Beth McCoy, Caroline McCoy and Carly McCoy; seven great grandchildren and former husband, Ralph Coleman
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Afterwards, Dorothy will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to thank Compassionate Care Hospice for their devotion and care of Mrs. Dorothy.
