Dorothy “Dot” Hall Crenshaw-Shue, 83, went home to be with her Father on Friday, July 21, 2023 following an extended illness.
Dot was born on October 7, 1939, in Macon, Georgia, the daughter of the late Henry C. Hall and the late Reba Bridges Hall. She was one of sixteen children. Dot was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She loved her family and friends and never met a stranger. Dot was very patriotic. She was a member of Mikado Baptist Church. She worked for the Bibb County Board of Education as a Para-professional, Bibb County Board of Elections as a volunteer, and Corky Bells Seafood as a manager for many years.
Dot was preceded in death by her husbands, Harold Crenshaw and Jim Shue, her parents, seven brothers, and five sisters.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Jay Crenshaw of Warner Robins, Wanda Makuch of Warner Robins, and Chris and Bobby Henderson of Jones County; grandsons, BJ Crenshaw, Steven Crenshaw, Adam Smoot, Chase Henderson, and Shane Henderson; siblings, Roy Hall (Diane), Gwen Bridgeman (Leroy), Rebecca Suddeth (Tim), and Helen Batson; along with seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 23, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A celebration of Dot’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 24, 2023, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
