Dorothy J. L. (Dot) Dauby

Dorothy J. L. (Dot) Dauby passed away on Monday, December 5, 2011. Mrs. Dauby was a much loved and treasured mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and was sixty-five year resident of Warner Robins, Georgia. Mrs. Dauby was born on August 31, 1922 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was a homemaker and the mother of six children. Mrs. Dauby was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church since 1946. She also was a member of The Robins Rockets Dance Group, Red Hat Society, a Girl Scout Leader, Warner Robins Social Club, Robins Ramblers Square Dance Club, and the Civilian Wives Club. Mrs. Dauby was predeceased by her husband, Frank A. Dauby Sr.; and her eldest daughter, Dorothy Ann Dauby Carberry.
She is survived by her daughters, Sarah L. Dauby of Covington, Georgia, Mary Dauby Fink of Lake Villa, Illinois, and Joyce Dauby Feezel of Tallahassee, Florida; sons, Frank A. Dauby Jr. of Oakland, California, and Michael C. Dauby of Opelika, Alabama; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A Rosary Service will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. with visitation following until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Committal Service following at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
