Dorothy Jean Estle, 69, joined the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the morning of Tuesday, March 10, 2015.
Dorothy was born on December 6, 1945 in Ohio to the late Lawrence Estle and Dorothy Binegar Parker. In 1979, she moved to Warner Robins and in 1998, she made Westside Baptist her church home. Dorothy was very active in the church where she was a much-loved member of the John Kubia Sunday School Class, helped with Vacation Bible School, and worked in the nursery. Dorothy had an uncanny ability to make anyone smile with her sweet, kind-hearted nature. At church, she made visitors feel welcome by writing them cards. Dorothy enjoyed gospel music, and would join you in song at the drop of a hat. She had a love for our servicemen and women, and all children.
She is survived by her sister, Shirley A. Lindsay and brother, Lawrence Raymond Estle.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 14, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Westside Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at the church at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Mike Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorial donations be given in memory of Dorothy Jean Estle to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O.
