Dorothy Mae Connell

Dorothy T. Connell, 76, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2005, at Houston Medical Center. Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 17, 2005, at Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, July 16, 2005, from 6 until 8 PM at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church, 600 South Pleasant Hill Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088, Meals- On- Wheels, 1137 Kathleen Bynum Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31093, Hospice Of Houston County, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088, or Charity of Donor’s choice.

Mrs. Connell lived most of her life in Warner Robins. She was a faithful and very active member of Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church. She retired from Anderson Chemical after thirty years as a Laboratory Technician and loved to crochet. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Connell, her son, Larry Connell and her parents, Andrew and Nora Thompson.

Survivors include her daughter, Judy Connell Di Fiore, Warner Robins; sisters, Joyce Fordham, Aburndale, Florida; Ann Williams (Jack), Eastman, Georgia; Elizabeth Coleman (Tommy), Eastman, Georgia; Geraldeen Daniel (James), Hawkinsville, Georgia; brothers, Billy Thompson (Geraldeen), Cochran, Georgia; Wilbur Thompson (Linda), Cadwell, Georgia; several nieces and nephews.
