Dorothy Mccart Ferrell

Dorothy McCart Ferrell, 67, entered into rest on Friday, December 19, 2014.

Dorothy was born on June 10, 1947, in Manchester, Tennessee. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Centerville and Doris Gray's Sunday School Class. Dorothy retired from the Receiving Department of Wal-Mart. She volunteered with the Houston Medical Center Auxillary and served as their President from 2010-2011.

She is preceeded in death by her husband, L. D. Ferrell and her parents, Ira Newton McCart, Sr. and Ruby Mae McCart.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter and son-in-law, James and Angela Collier, Warner Robins, GA; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Andrew and Alayna Dukes, Macon, GA; sister, Delores Daly, Decherd, TN; brothers, Ira Newton McCart, Jr. (Sarah), Wartrace, TN; John Robert McCart (Cathy), Shelbyville, TN; and Jess McCart, Decherd, TN; and half-sister, Beth Dornbusch (Jim), Erlinger, KY.

Visitation will be Monday, December 22, 2014, 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at the First Baptist Church of Centerville. There will also be a funeral service on Saturday, December 27, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Bell Buckle, Tennessee. Burial will be private.
