Dorothy Caven passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2003 at Houston Medical Center. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, September 8 in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in the Magnolia Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be Sunday from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.
Mrs. Caven was born in Coffee County, GA and was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. A resident of Warner Robins since 1957, she was of the Baptist faith. Her parents, William and Lola Mae Ricketson, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, James C. Caven; daughters, Diana C. Reynolds (Clyde), Warner Robins; Joanne C. Amos (Tim), Centerville; son, Raymond A. Caven (Teresa), Warner Robins; daughters, Donna C. Ellis (Dennis), Warner Robins; Vicki C. Shepherd (David), Lizella; sisters, Nellie Mae Soles, Woodbine, GA; Eula Giddens, Brunswick; Wilma McLeod, Louisville, KY; sister-in-law, Gracelyn Martin, Macon; grandchildren, Mark Lewis, Tara Amos Roberts, Laura Amos Bennet, Sean M. Mains, Karissa Johnson, Shea Caven, Kyle Mains, Jesse Ellis, Robyn Mains, David Shepherd, Michael Dunn, Melissa Shepherd, Jade Reynolds, Alycia Ellis, Christopher Caven, Tyler Reynolds; great-grandchildren, Sarah Bennet, Emma Bennet, Bryce Amos, Adrianne Johnson, Dallas Johnson, Gaven Johnson, Ansley Hunt, Noah Johnson, Abigail Roberts, Marshall Johnson, and Nathan Ellis.
