Dorothy T. ''Dot'' Railey, 89, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 23, 2013.
Mrs. Railey was born on August 15, 1923 in Macon, Georgia. She retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base and was a devoted member of First Baptist Church Centerville. Prior to moving to Warner Robins in 2007, she resided in Fort Valley where she was an active member of Chamlee Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Railey will be remembered as a beloved mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Fletcher Railey; and parents, Henry and Annie Tompkins.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, James R. Rainey (Pat); stepsons, Bobby Railey (Donna) and Ronnie Railey (Cindy); granddaughters, Heather Sams (Rodney) and Jennifer Rainey (Warren Clark); step-grandchildren, Robbie Railey, Chuck Railey (Rebecca), Charlotte Railey, and Stephanie Railey; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Annie Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 26, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 27, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Oaklawn Cemetery in Fort Valley.
