Dot Baker, 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 18, 2016.
Dot was born on March 2, 1937 in Charleston, South Carolina to the late Owen, Sr. and Dorothy Studemeyer Ulmer. She was a Branch Secretary at Robins Air Force Base before she began working as the Librarian at the Pulaski County Library where she retired after 41 years. Dot enjoyed spending time with her beloved family and had a special place in her heart for cats.
Along with her parents, her loving husband, William Marvin Baker, Jr., and brother, William Ulmer, preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, William "Billy" Baker; siblings, Owen Ulmer (Jackie) of Jefferson; Lynda Figueroa (Raiuli) of Chester, Virginia; and niece, Rhonda Broussard (Dutch) of Perry.
Visitation with Dot's family will be Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McCullough. After the service, Dot will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Dorothy Ulmer "Dot" Baker
