Douglas Raymond Moore, Usaf (Ret.)

Douglas Moore, 81, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 12, 2016.

Douglas was born on August 23, 1935 in Hamilton, Ohio. With great pride and honor he retired after serving 20 years in the United States Air Force. Following his active duty career, he retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.

His parents, Henry Moore and Elva Brewer Moore, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Patricia Jenkins Moore of Centerville; children, Deborah Buchanan (Russell) of Lizella; Donna Pancake (Rodney) of North Palm Beach, Florida; Timothy Moore (Wendy) of Macon; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Clara Jenkins of Florida; Henry Moore of Michigan; Dan Moore of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held Friday, September 16, 2016.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Douglas Raymond Moore to The American Heart Association.
