Doyce Marjorie Hayes

January 11, 1925 — March 7, 2002

Byron - Doyce Marjorie Butler Hayes, 77, died Thursday, March 7, at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 9, at Magnolia Park Cemetery, with interment following. Rev. Sam P. Lamback will officiate. The family will receive visitors at their residence at 275 Choctaw Lane, Byron.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice of Houston County, 2066 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, GA 31093.

Born in Danville, Georgia, Mrs. Hayes was a former resident of Warner Robins. She retired from Belk Matthews on the Houston Mall. She was a homemaker and a member of Second Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge and the V.F.W. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otho Jerome and Lavada Rutherford Butler.

Survivors include her husband, William E. Hayes, Byron; daughter, Beverly Axton, Byron; sons, James E. Hayes, Roberta, GA; and William Jerome Hayes, Warner Robins; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

McCullough Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
