Dreama Kay Sayre

On the morning of Wednesday, September 6, 2023, Dreama Sayre, 76, entered into eternal rest.

Dreama was born in Charleston, West Virgina on February 28, 1947, to the late Allen and Ruby Hyde. She moved to Warner Robins in 1973. Dreama married the love of her life, Leonard “Lennie” Sayre, and together they raised three children, she loved dearly. Dreama was a homemaker until her children reached their teenage years where she began working at the Kwickie Foods stores and Holiday Foods as a store manager. She dedicated many years to Piggly Wiggly where she would retire. Dreama loved to go fishing with her family when the children were younger. She also loved camping and working in her yard until her health slowed her down. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-four years, Leonard “Lennie” Sayre; son, Terry Sayre and grandson, Jason Sayre.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Tina Stephens (Russell) of Warner Robins; son, Michael Sayre (Judy) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Mylissa, Jeremiah, Justin, Lindsey and Aaron; seven great grandchildren; nephew, Jeffery Dunlap and two Boston terriers, Sassy and Sissy, who she loved and spoiled rotten.

Visitation with Dreama’s family will be Wednesday, September 13, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
