Duane Keith Baker

Duane Keith Baker, 64, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. 

Duane was born on February 8, 1960, in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. In 1966, the family moved to Warner Robins, where he grew up. He attended and graduated from Warner Robins High School. Most of his professional life was spent in construction, along with 32 years at YKK where he was a packer. Known for his great sense of humor, Duane enjoyed quality time spent with his family and friends. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, playing softball, and later in life, becoming a softball coach. He will be deeply missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.  

Duane was preceded in death by his father, Jay Edward Baker. 

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Cheryl P. Baker; four children, Samantha, Amanda, Nicholas, and Joshua; mother, Mildred F. Baker; siblings, Rodger, Sandy, and Lorraine; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, along with aunts, uncles, and many other loving family members and friends. 

Visitation will be Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at The Assembly of Warner Robins. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of The Assembly. Duane will be laid to rest privately.
