Earl Francis Howard, Sr., 87, entered into rest on Sunday, April 7, 2013.
Mr. Howard was born on March 27, 1926 in Rockland, Maine. With courage and commitment, he dedicated twenty six years of service to his country, serving in the United States Navy. He was a veteran of World War II, Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam era. A longtime resident of Warner Robins, he was a Mason and a lifetime member of the American Legion. He enjoyed USO Shows, building model ships, leather work and painting bottles. His first and second wives, Barbara E. Howard and Jacqueline Holder Howard, son, Wayne G. Howard, and parents, Charles and Leola Howard, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Cindy Carr (Dave), Warner Robins; Barbara-Ellen Howington, Epps, Louisiana; Dorothy M. Garrettson-Smith (Bradley), Byron; Brendan C. Howard, Biddeford, Maine; Leonard Paul Howard, Portland, Maine; Earl F. Howard, Jr., Warner Robins; long time caregiver, Doris Garten; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other loving family members.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 15, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with inurnment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
