Earl "Sonny" Murphy

Earl Murphy was born January 8, 1941 in Wilkinson County, Georgia. After retiring from Marathon Petroleum Corporation, he pursued his love of farming. He honorably served in the United States Air Force. Mr. Murphy (Sonny) is predeceased by his mother, Lelia Jane West and father, George Murphy. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Roy West and Alicia and three nephews, Philip West and wife Tuyen, Andrew West and Derek West. Earl was a true southern gentleman and had a heart of gold. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and family. A Graveside service will be Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
