Ed. O'Rourke, 80, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2015.
Ed was born on November 18, 1934 in Port Arthur, Texas. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Ed then went to work at Robins Air Force Base as an Electronics System Analyst. He was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Warner Robins. In his spare time Ed. Enjoyed square dancing, all things associated with softball, fishing, ushering at church, woodwork restoration, movies, and above all else spending time with his family.
His wife, Jackie O'Rourke; son, Wade O'Rourke; daughter, SherryLynn O'Rourke; parents, Edward, Sr. and Irene Barton O'Rourke; and four siblings, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving daughter, Amy Reuther of Warner Robins; son, Edward B. O'Rourke of Phillipsburg, Kansas; grandchildren, Maria Phillips, Kevin O'Rourke, Kenneth O'Rourke, A.J. O'Rourke, Renee O'Rourke, and Kayla O'Rourke; and sister, Mary Ellen Hartness.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at All Saints Episcopal Church. An Irish wake will follow at VFW Post 6605 at 1011 Corder Rd. Warner Robins from 6:00p.m.to 8:30 p.m. Interment will be held Monday, March 30, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. CST at Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
