Thomas E. “Ed” Williamson, Sr., 88, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2006. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 22, in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice 103 Westridge Drive Warner Robins, GA 31088.
Mr. Williamson was born on June 15, 1918 in Schley County, Georgia. Mr. Williamson was store manager of Piggly Wiggly Southern (North Davis Drive) for twenty seven years. He was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge and an active member of the Middle Georgia Coin Collectors Association. His parents, William Phillip and Susie Mae Fowler Williamson, siblings, Johnny Williamson of Perry, Horace Williamson, and Julia Rigsby, both of Marshallville, all preceded him in death.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of sixty five years, Geneva Wehunt Williamson, children, Gloria Burnette, Thomas Williamson (Esther), all of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Jeffery Burnette (Annette), Michael Burnette, Brian Williamson (Jennifer), Andrea Andorfer (Michael), great grandchildren, Alexis, Austin, Ashlee, and Megan Burnette and Hannah Williamson, brothers, Leroy and Jack Williamson, and sister, Nannie Ruth Dean, all of Marshallville.
