Edith Ann Dunwoody Yentzer, 89, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2009.
Ms. Yentzer was born on December 16, 1919, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She was formerly employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Assistance and the Lancaster County National Bank, and more recently by Sears in Warner Robins after moving to Georgia in 1968. First United Methodist Church in Warner Robins was her church home. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph H. Yentzer; parents, Jacob L. Dunwoody and Edith Anna Doerr Dunwoody; siblings, J. Lester Dunwoody, Grant E. Dunwoody, Fern L. McComsey, Elsie I. Roland, Robert L. Dunwoody, and Reverend Richard Dunwoody.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, Thomas H. (Leigh) Yentzer; grandsons, Kyle J. (Brandy) Yentzer and Eric M. Yentzer; and many other family members and beloved friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2009, in Magnolia Park Mausoleum, Reverend Jimmy Asbell officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to First United Methodist Church, 205 N. Davis Drive, Warner Robins GA 31093, or Heart of Georgia - Inpatient Hospice, 1120 Morningside Drive, Perry GA 31069
