Edna H. Bailey

Loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Edna H. Bailey left this Earth for her Heavenly home on March 10, 2021. She was 97 years old.

Edna was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, and graduated from Knoxville High School. She was a talented seamstress, avid reader and loved to cook. She is the former president of Women’s Aglow Fellowship. She was the daughter of the late Bruce Hampton and Alma Huffaker Hampton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Charles Phillip Bailey.

Those left to cherish Edna’s memory are children, Carol Jeanne Harty (Don) of Stockbridge, Phil Bailey (Sue) of Warner Robins, and Tim Bailey (Dee) of Centerville; grandchildren, Angie Yeager (Matthew), Luke Bailey, Chris Bailey (Christy), Elizabeth Croft (Judd), and Meagan Huston; and great grandchildren, Tera, Jonathan, Levi, Zoey, and Sophia.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow visitation in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Dr. Myke Harbuck will officiate. Edna will be laid to rest at Parkway Memorial Gardens.
