Edna Ruth Johnson

Edna Ruth Johnson, 61, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2014.

Edna was born on May 23, 1953 in Fort Valley, Georgia and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a spiritual and devout Christian. She was self-employed as a hairdresser and worked in several salons throughout Warner Robins. Edna's memory will be remembered as a beautiful, vibrant and friendly woman who appreciated the simple things in life; loved by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed Cater, Sr. and Adel Lyndell Cater.

Edna's memory will forever be treasured by her loving son, O.J. Johnson of Bonaire; grandchildren, Dominic Johnson and Noah Johnson; sisters, Carrie James (Otis) and Janie Brown, both of Perry, Gladys Anderson (Lonnie), Rebecca Brown, and Lillie Mae Brown, all of Warner Robins, Gloria Jean Ware (Penny) of Texas, and Annie Doris Stephens of Macon; brothers, Ed Cater, Jr. (Phyllis) of Florida and Eddie Robinson (Kena) of Hawkinsville; several adoring nieces and nephews; and special friends, Faye Banks-Anderson and Martha Latimore.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private. Reverend Eddie Robinson will officiate.
