Edward A. Palmieri

Edward A. Palmieri, 78, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2015.

Edward was born on April 4, 1937 in Bronx, New York to the late Michael Edward and Angelina Battista Palmieri. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Edward then worked at Robins Air Force base for many years before retiring as an Industrial Engineer. He was a life-long member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and will always be remembered as a devoted husband, father, brother, and uncle.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 56 years, Geraldine "Gerry" Palmieri of Warner Robins; son, Michael Edward Palmieri (Terri) of Griffin; daughter, Tina Marella Palmieri-Freedman (Marc) of Sandy Springs; grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Palmieri and Samuel Edward Palmieri; brother, Michael Ralph Palmieri (Laurie) of Greenback, Tennessee; sister Dorothy Palmieri Doyle (William) of Douglasville; and several nieces and nephews.

A Rosary will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. with visitation following until 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. A Funeral mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment following in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Portal, Ga.
