Edward "Ed" Adams, 61, entered into rest on Sunday, September 5, 2010.
Ed was born on July 21, 1949 in Macon. Known as the "Candy Man", he worked at Crown Candy Company as a sales manager for twenty-four years. An avid Alabama fan, he enjoyed fishing, boating and playing Phase 10 cards.
His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Cindy Adams, Fort Valley; step-children, Misty McDonald (Matt), Alabama, Tiffany Priest (Chris), Barnesville, and Bobby Landers, Fort Valley; grandchildren, Mathew and Kelsey McDonald, Jayda Landers and Ethan and Josie Priest; sisters, Brenda Mosley (Richard), Fayetteville, and Charlene Rankin (Ron), Cumming; brother, Tony Wade (Aura), Temple, Georgia; nieces and nephews, Ricky and Eric Mosley, Andrea Rankin and Danielle Edwards.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 8, 2010, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2010, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, George DePuy officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, in Sylacauga, Alabama.
