Edward Cieselski

Edward F. Ciesielski, 77, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2007.

Mr. Ciesielski was born one of 11 children on July 19, 1930, in Bay City, Michigan. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was a radio and radar specialist, with flying status, in the U. S. Air Force and served in the Korean Conflict with the rank of Staff Sergeant. He retired as an Electronics Data Specialist from Robins Air Force Base after 36 years. In retirement, he worked for Kroger for 10 years. He was a life time member of the Warner Robins High School Touchdown Club. His parents, Edward F. Ciesielski and Josephine Ciesielski, and son, Michael Kennedy Ciesielski, preceded his in death.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Hanson Ciesielski, Warner Robins; sons, Ed Ciesielski (Janice) and John Ciesielski (April), Warner Robins; daughters, Donna Ciesielski Bizan, St. Louis, MO and Judy Ciesielski, Warner Robins; grandchildren, Angel Lynn and Michael Shane Ciesielski, Danielle Welsh, Tracy and Augie Harris, and Jennifer Monat and Jason Carter, great grandchildren, Ryan Smith, Logan Murrell, Brienna Faith Welsh, Reece Daniels, and Avery, Zane, and Jackson Carter.

Mr. Ciesielski will be greatly missed by his family and friends, who will always remember him as a very kind, humble, generous and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was totally devoted to God and his family, and those who love him are assured that he is at home with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 22, 2007 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, November 23, 2007, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the ARC-Macon, 4664 Sheraton Drive, Macon, GA 31210 or the Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
