Edward James Walters, Jr., 70, entered into rest on July 25, 2010.
Loved by all, Mr. Walters was born on July 16, 1940, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Air Force. He later worked and retired from Boeing Aerospace as an Aerospace Engineer. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His parents, Edward James Walters, Sr., and Elizabeth Fritch Walters, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Jim Walters, St. Louis, Missouri; and Sherry Yvonne Walters, Miami, Florida, grandchildren, Jacqueline Gabrielle Walters, Jessica Alexandria Walters, Alexis Jade Walters, and Lauren Elizabeth Walters; and sister, Betty Walters Hochberg, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 29, 2010, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2010, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Bishop Rocky Webb officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1799 Houston Lake Road, Perry GA 31069, or to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Suite A, Macon GA 31201.
