Edward Lee "Papa Lee" Boland

Edward "Papa Lee" Boland, 66, left this earth to join his beloved wife, Lucia Slack Boland in Heaven on Monday, August 17, 2015.

Lee was born on November 3, 1948 in Macon, Georgia to the late Walter E. Boland, Jr. and Mary Ozburn Boland Fountain. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and retired more than 25 years of service from Brown & Williamson. In his free time, Lee enjoyed family, friends, golf and playing snooker.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Tracey Jackson (Earl) of Forsyth, Tony Boland (Jennifer) of Bolingbroke, Heather Adams (David) of Macon, Bill Malone (Lady) of Madison, Susie Maddox (Rad) of Cochran, and Jim Malone (Courtney) of Greenville, South Carolina; grandchildren, Dalton, Morgan and Dylan Blume, Julia and Addie Boland, Brandon and Zoe Adams, Alex and Key Malone, and Sydney and Kate Maddox; sisters, Terry Chancey (Chris) of Gray and Jo Boland Sapp (Jerry) of Macon; and several loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Edward Lee Boland to a charity of your choice.
