Edward O. Lukemire, 79, passed away on October 24, 2007.
Mr. Lukemire was born on September 26, 1928 in Rittman, Ohio. He was a veteran Sergeant in the Korean Conflict for the United States Army, and retired as a store manager for A & P Grocery Stores. He was a member of Mabel White Baptist Church, where served as a Deacon and Elder for forty-one years, as a Sunday School teacher for fifty-four years, and as a Royal Ambassadors leader for many years. He enjoyed leading others to Christ, collecting historical memorabilia and gardening. He was a devoted family man, and enjoyed giving flowers to family and friends. His parents, Edward L Lukemire and Lillian Lukemire, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-seven years, Martha A Lukemire, Warner Robins; sons, Edward. D. Lukemire (Trell), Warner Robins and Alan T. Lukemire (Adrienne), Kathleen; daughter, Beverly L. Jarrett (Robert), Warner Robins; sister, Pauline Campbell, Wadworth, Ohio; grandchildren, Whitney, Zachary, Rachel, Kathryn, Nathan, Joshua, Jacob, and Joseph.
Visitation will be Friday, October 26, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at Mabel White Baptist Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
