Edward Wayne Brewster

October 6, 1960 — July 30, 2023

Knoxville – Edward “Wayne” Brewster, 62, entered into rest on Sunday, July 30, 2023.


Wayne was born on October 6, 1960, in Welch, West Virginia. He was a decorated United States Army veteran, who with the military police, earned such recognition as sharpshooter and the 45-caliber pistol bar. Following his military service, he spent 15 dedicated years as an industrial maintenance professional for Frito Lay. In his free time, Wayne loved photography and was an avid animal lover.


Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Carmen Brewster, and his sister, Denise Fried.


His memory will forever be treasured by his wife of 32 years, Cindy Brewster of Knoxville, GA; sons, Tyler Brewster and Colton Brewster of Knoxville, GA; mother, Cynthia Brewster of Lake City, FL; sister-in-law, Kristina Koch of Knoxville, GA; brother, Jeffrey Brewster (Sara) of Newberry, FL; niece Marissa Fried of Gainesville, FL; and nephew, Christopher Murray of Newberry, FL.


A visitation will be Thursday, August 3, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.


In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Wayne Brewster to Faith Animal Rescue at PO Box 513, Lizella, GA 31052.
