A longtime resident of Warner Robins, Edwin Stephen “Steve” Usher entered into rest at the age of 63 on Monday, October 24, 2022.
The son of the late Edwin H. and Gloria Faye Fields Usher, Steve was born on October 4, 1959, in Macon, Georgia. He graduated from Northside High School with the Class of 1977. After high school, Steve enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served as a crew chief for the F-15’s for four years. He then continued serving his country in aircraft structural maintenance on Robins Air Force Base until his retirement. In 1988, Steve met his wife, Marion Stratton Usher. They were wedded in 1997. The happy couple were married for a number of years until her passing. Steve spent his spare time playing sports but especially loved golf.
His memory will forever be treasured by his daughter, Tiffany Icard (Julian) of Kathleen; siblings, Kenneth Usher of Warner Robins, Donna Faye Moore (Jack) of Milton, Florida, and David Usher (Sandra) of Warner Robins; four nieces; and one nephew.
A memorial gathering will be Thursday, October 27, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with military honors.
